We have been able to negotiate a group rate at the Travelodge, which is located at 50 Norfinch Drive in North York. The phone number of the hotel is (416) 663-9500. The standard room rate will be $75.99 plus taxes per night, but you have to ask for the Canadian Gourd Society special rate.

This hotel features an in-room coffee maker, voicemail, internet connection, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, as well as free local calls and guest parking. Bring your bathing suit, because they tell me that the pool and the whirlpool are awesome!

Perkins’ Restaurant is on-site and they will be catering our Annual General Meeting, so it is handy if you plan to attend the dinner meeting.

If you have any problems making a reservation, please contact Brigette Thompson at brig@persona.ca
